Welcome to MalabarJS! By participating in our community, whether at events, online spaces, or through our platforms, you agree to the following terms.

Treat all community members with respect and kindness. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or any form of offensive behavior will not be tolerated. We're all here to learn and grow together.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and skill levels, from first-time coders to seasoned architects. Embrace diversity and help create a space where everyone feels valued.

3. Code of Conduct

All members must adhere to our Code of Conduct. Please review it for detailed expectations on behavior at events and in online spaces.

4. Content & Contributions

  • Content you share (talks, blog posts, code) should be your own or properly attributed
  • Don't share copyrighted material without permission
  • Contributions to MalabarJS projects are subject to their respective licenses
  • By sharing content at our events, you grant us permission to share photos, recordings, and summaries

5. Event Participation

  • Register for events through official channels
  • Inform us if you can't attend so others can take your spot
  • Follow venue rules and organizer instructions
  • Photography and recording policies will be communicated at each event

6. Privacy

  • We collect minimal data (name, email, social handles) for community coordination
  • We won't sell your information to third parties
  • Event photos may be shared on our social channels
  • You can request removal of your data by emailing us
